I HAVE OCCASSIONAL ARRYTHMIA / I DO NOT HAVE NEAR ACCESS TO A MEDICAL CENTER – THEN HOW CAN I HAVE MY RHYTHM DISORDER DIAGNOSED ?

Do not worry.  There are tools and technologies to help you.

Holter: a small mobile sized machine strapped to your body used to record continuous ECG for a period of 24 to 48 hours as desired by your electrophysiologist.

Cardiac Event Recorder – a device to record occasional symptoms over a period of time whenever you have them.

Electrophysiological (EP) study – a minimally invasive  test to diagnose  problems with the electrical signals in your heart by passing soft wires up a vein in your leg and into your heart through plastic tubes under local anaesthesia.
